MCP has low molecular weight and small size that allow it to pass through the intestinal brush border into the bloodstream. Once within the circulatory system, it exerts gentle detoxifying action with organs and tissue systems throughout the entire body. Modified citrus pectin can bind to accumulated toxins and heavy metals from typical environmental exposure. These toxins can then be eliminated via urinary excretion.
